Vision
ICF Minnesota is a trusted, inclusive, and sought-after catalyst for growth in the coaching community. | Mission
ICF Minnesota celebrates and promotes the development of a diverse community of coaches dedicated to serving others inclusively and equitably. | | | Letter from the President | Dear ICF Minnesota Community,
Ah!
The onset of summer…in Minnesota.
97-degree heat that scorches the bottom of your bare feet one day, then a 30 degree drop the next.
Life and current events can also mirror these up-down unpredictable waves of weather.
You may be experiencing similar uncertainties related to topics such as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB), and/or the fast-moving influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in coaching. read more... | | | Wine-Down with AI for Coaches

| | | Gaston Award Nominations!
We are looking forward to a special night in September to honor recipients of our
Gaston Award.
The Gaston Award Honors an Individual for their selfless leadership and significant and sustained contributions to the Coaching Profession and the ICF Minnesota Chapter.
Please be a part of this special event by submitting your nominations by July 11, 2025. | | | In-Person Book Group
Watch for our first in-person book group this August where we’ll explore Microjoys: Finding Hope (Especially) When Life Is Not Okay by Cyndie Spiegel—a powerful reminder that even in challenging times, small moments of beauty and meaning can help restore our inner reserves.
This is a space for all of us, as coaches and human beings, who give so much to others to pause, reconnect with their own well-being, and find renewed strength to serve with presence and purpose.
Location (planning on a metro park) and August date TBD. Watch for more details in the August Catalyst.

Loretta Diez Coaching Training Scholarship
ICF Minnesota is on a mission to promote the development of a diverse community of coaches dedicated to serving others inclusively and equitably. One way we strive to do this is through our Loretta Diez Coaching Training Scholarship to help make becoming a coach financially easier.
We established the Loretta Diez Coach Training Scholarship in honor of Loretta Diez, a former ICF Minnesota coach and board member who passed away in 2024. Loretta exemplified the character traits we wish to honor, celebrate, and embody. She was paralyzed in a car accident at the age of 22 and her attitude, accomplishments, contributions, and approach to life inspire us to pursue our dreams with courage, tenacity, resilience, honesty, kindness, humor, integrity and hope.
Through this scholarship we hope to honor her life and help usher in the next generation of incredible coaches. The nomination window is now open and will close on July 18, 2025.
If you or anyone you know would like to apply, please use this application or reach out with any questions. | Welcome June New Members!
