Biography
Elaine’s dedication to Personal and Professional coaching manifested itself in 1996 and continues today.
Her guiding force established Minnesota as a key training site for The Coaches Training Institute [CTI] in 1997. Followed closely in 1998, Elaine, along with Phil Sandahl and Jeff Staggs established the Minnesota Coaches Association [MCA], a chapter of the International Coach Federation, which continues as a vibrant organization with the current name of ICF Minnesota Chapter. She herself currently holds the ICF Master Certified Coach [MCC] level since 2006.
She is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach [CPCC] awarded through CTI and a retired faculty member of Coaches Training Institute (CTI) where she trained and supervised new coaches. Elaine led both the Fundamental and Intermediate Courses held in the United States, Canada, Israel, Norway, England and South Africa. She also carried the roles of Program Leader, Supervisor and Oral Examiner within the school’s Certification Program.
Prior to her deep involvement with CTI, Elaine established her organization development business in 1978. Her non-profit clients experienced transformational team building, conflict resolution and goal setting. Some of this time was overlapped with twenty-one years of membership in a religious community known as the Adrian Dominican Sisters, 1962 – 1983 where her careers in Elementary and Secondary teaching developed; eventually transformed into Pastoral Ministry and Church consulting.
The flow of Elaine’s life continues to flavor her with a deep desire to learn about human consciousness as can be found in her studies with Lucid Living and through Advanced Coaching Studies involving Neuroscience, Consciousness and Transformational Coaching with BEabove. Elaine continues to coach individuals and especially enjoys coaching individuals who have a common career within a group setting.
On a personal note, Elaine and her husband Mark have been married since 1985, loving where they live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
